That was always the main aim of Mr Giulio Maestrini, founder of Maestrini s.r.l., and since 1964, the year of foundation, he has been taking every decision with this idea very clear in his mind.
Today the company is strongly characterised by its strong propensity to investments, uncompromising care to quality, the continual search of innovative solutions and, last but not least, great flexibility.
Our customers can find a product of high quality, always available in a short time and, for any particular requirement, an efficient team of designers that can get from the concept to the finished product in a time that you would hardly believe possible.
But, as Mr Maestrini always says
“It was our customers, with their continued preference, who allowed us to afford the right investments to continue growing and improving to remain up to their expectations!
Therefore they deserve our heartfelt thanks!”
Year of foundation, the factory in Quarona has a covered area of just 150 square metres, where a limited range of threaded brass fittings is manufactured for the local market.
The company is well known and sells all over Italy through representative agents, during this year the firm moves to a new factory, twice as large and directly own, in nearby Borgosesia. Purchase of the first tranfer machine.
A factory extension brings the total covered area to 500 square metres. The company introduces a specific line of fittings for the pleasure crafts industry, while still an artisan business is capable of manufacturing an increasingly large range of products of outstanding quality.
A milestone in the company's history. The founder Giulio Maestrini avails himself of the help of his children Ivan and Manuela, the company develops a marketing structure and starts exporting its products abroad, the production speeds up with the use of highly productive automatic machines, and the first CNC lathe is bought.
Ivan introduces a CAD/CAM system and the company becomes self-sufficient in the manufacture of the production tools.
A further extension of 300 square metres brings the total covered surface to 800 sqm, but the increased activity soon makes the factory inadequate again.
Maestrini finally acquires a suitable new factory of 4,000 square metres back in Quarona, where the activity can grow unimpeded.
Maestrini is certified to ISO 9001
Thanks to the new offices building the covered surface becomes over 6,000 square metres, the company has more than 20 employees, a high degree of automation and exports over 50% of its output.
The annexion of a 1,000 sqm warehouse to the company's compound brings the total covered surface to 7,000 square metres.
To improve the company's image and enhance the value of the premises, a new external paving is laid, together with the installation of a weighing platform for lorries up to 45 tonnes.
As a contribute to emissions containment a 3,500 sqm photo-voltaic generating plant capable of 200 kW peak output is installed on the roof.
Purchase of an annealing furnace for the heat treament of corrosion resistant CR brass.
The company gets two important product certifications: the DVGW certificate for brass and CR brass fittings in drinking water and gas installations, and RINA MAC type approval for bronze flanged water strainers.
Purchase of a spectrometer for the analysis of the incoming copper alloys and the issue of conformity certificates for the production batches according to EN 10204 (type 3.1).
An obsolete warehouse within the company's compound undergoes a radical restructuring aimed at the creation of the new 1,500 sqm finished products warehouse.
